Prescribing intelligence for ADHD therapies

Prescriptions for most CNS stimulants to treat ADHD are increasing. In England there was a 9% year on year growth in prescription items for ADHD with nearly 2 million issued in 2020-2021.  

Medications are grouped into 12 hour or 8 hour modified release methylphenidate, immediate release methylphenidate, Lisdexamfetamine, Atomoxetine and Guafacine.
